Lectures
In November 2005 Gloria Freilich, Cancerkin's Chief Executive, attended the Europa Donna's 7th Pan European Conference in Rome, together with six members of the Royal Free Breast Unit. They were invited to share their experience of building a multi-disciplinary team. A summary of their presentation is available from the Europa Donna website following this link.
In March 2006 Mrs Freilich was invited to speak at the 5th European Breast Cancer Conference on “Breast Cancer in Women under 40 - Special Communication Issues.” She discussed critical areas of concern for young women which included survival, the drive to find the best available treatment, responsibilities, relationships, physical impact such as potential loss of fertility, early menopause, body image and sexuality.
