Local Hampstead businesses pulled together this festive season to donate an array of prizes for a charity Tombola, helping breast cancer support charity Cancerkin (1) raise over £1,100. There were over 100 prizes to be won in the Tombola, including meals at Le Pain Quotidien, reflexology at Belsize Health, a hair cut at Enz Hair and tickets to the Everyman Cinema.
Events Manager Laura Smith said “Everyone who took part had great fun and our winners were thrilled to take home such fantastic prizes. We were giving out mince pies too to spread a bit of festive cheer.”
Victoria Todd, Cancerkin’s Chief Executive stated: “The event was a real success thanks to our team of dedicated volunteers who helped out on the day. The funds raised will provide complementary therapies to women with breast cancer when they most need support and care.”
The tombola was held outside the Atrium at the Royal Free Hospital on Wednesday 7th December 2011.
