Anmol Malhotra has been a Consultant Radiologist with an interest in breast and oncology imaging at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust since 2005.
Prior to his appointment he completed medical school at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, trained in medicine at Barts and the London Hospitals and where he went on to train in Radiology. He completed the Breast Imaging fellowship at St Bartholomew’s hospital under the supervision of Dr Sarah Vinnicombe and Dr Nicholas Perry. He then completed an observership period at Memorial Sloane Kettering hospital in New York in Breast and Body MRI.
Anmol is a member of the Royal college of Radiologist Breast imaging group and performs breast screening in the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme. He has written the North London Cancer Network Imaging Guidelines. He is Lead for Radiology at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust.
Anmol has been a MBBS examiner at Barts and the London medical school. He is an author on numerous peer radiology papers in journals with high Radiology impact. He is a reviewer for several journals as well as a reviewer of papers submitted to the UK Radiology Congress. His current research includes MRI Breast in comparison with PET-CT, Ultrasound Elastography, Imaging of photodynamic therapy of the breast and reading imaging for multiple North London oncology studies.
Anmol runs numerous teaching courses at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust including preparation courses for the final examination of the Royal College of Radiologists, a monthly academic Radiology evening lecture programme, CT and MRI imaging study days and MRI workshops.
