Jenny Oppenheimer

Jenny Oppenheimer is currently grants officer at the Pilgrim Trust – an independent grant-making charitable foundation that funds in the Heritage and Social Welfare field.  In 2010 Jenny managed the delivery of a £2m grant programme jointly funded by the Corston Independent Funders Coalition and the Ministry of Justice. Jenny holds a post-graduate qualification from CASS Business School in Grantmaking, Philanthropy and Social Investment and an MSC in Information Science.

Prior to her work in grant management, Jenny worked as a consultant on PFI projects within the healthcare sector, most notably on the development of UCLH and the Barts and Royal London Hospitals.  Before that, Jenny spent over 10 years in business information management and research, both in the public and private sector, working in strategy consultancy, broadcasting and advertising.

Jenny was born in Trinidad but has lived in London for over 22 years.  She worked for a time at the Royal Free Hospital and now lives in West London with her husband and two children.
