Volunteer Training

Cancerkin Volunteers are selected and trained to provide quality services for the benefit of patients and their relatives. Our on-going development programme supports our volunteers in their important work and ensures you receive the help you need.

INTRODUCTORY COURSE FOR CANCERKIN VOLUNTEER VISITORS

APRIL 4 & 5 and 18 & 19,  2005

Course Objectives:

  • To prepare volunteers to give emotional support to patients with breast cancer and their families by providing the necessary knowledge and foundation for developing appropriate skills.
  • To provide a foundation for continuing education and training.
  • To promote best practice in volunteer support services.
