Yoga

The practice of yoga is widely acknowledged as a positive influence on mental and physical wellbeing. It is a series of postures (asanas) or exercises that cleanse strengthen and refresh the body and mind. Practised with engaged awareness and without forcing, the movements reach deeply into the body systems, enhancing their function. There are both immediate and long term beneficial effects.

Jenni Stone MAR, BWY (Dip)

Jenni is passionate about health and has been in practise for over 15 years after a career change from a stressful city job.

Having experienced the profound benefits of complementary therapies and a personal yoga practise herself, she trained first as a reflexologist, qualifying with the Central London School of Reflexology in 2001 and then as a yoga teacher, gaining her diploma with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2007.

She gained experience treating chronic illnesses in the North London Hospice and continues to work supporting people living with cancer at Maggie’s at Cancerkin. She has worked successfully with many different conditions, particularly stress related health issues. Jenni also specialises in treating from pre-conception through pregnancy to post-natal care.
Ongoing personal and professional development is important to Jenni and she regularly attends trainings and carries out her own research. Her aim is to help people feel better and stay better.


Cancerkin’s complementary caring services are available to patients with breast cancer, free of charge for a series of sessions, regardless of where they have been treated.
